Film Project
One
The 20-minute short film is a philosophical treatise on life on the margins of society. Can people get out of society?
A short film about two women at the end of the world. The film raises questions: Is it possible to break out of society? Can you live without others? Is that what we want? And what does contentment actually mean?
Substandard would be too kind an expression for the conditions on location. And yet, or perhaps precisely because of this, this film project is such a special memory. Everyone involved in the project was not exactly in their comfort zone during these days and everyone was a hero.
The story
The story takes place in Mlynce, Czech Republic. Lena is looking for a warm place to sleep. In front of her is a house, it seems abandoned. She climbs in. Eleonora has lived in the old walls for many years and hears the burglar. Without further ado, she threatens her. But Lena is able to calm the frightened and confused woman.
And so begins a beautiful and strange friendship. Their conversations revolve around memories and loneliness, escape and togetherness. The women want to break with society and, in the end, with themselves.
